Patient-reported outcomes and qualitative interviews in patients with estrogen receptor-positive/human epidermal growth factor receptor 2-negative advanced breast cancer: Results from the phase III EMBER-3 trial

Results from an exploratory patient-reported outcomes analysis of the phase 3 EMBER-3 trial supported the efficacy and safety findings for imlunestrant alone or combined with abemaciclib. Global health status/quality of life (GHS/QoL) and functional outcomes were generally maintained across treatment arms, despite higher rates of diarrhea with the combination regimen. Among patients with ESR1 mutations, treatment differences in GHS/QoL and function favored imlunestrant over standard of care.
