Researchers evaluated real-world data from 326 patients treated with palbociclib to determine whether body mass index (BMI) is associated with treatment response and survival. In this trial, BMI was not associated with progression-free survival, overall survival, or response to treatment. The researchers highlighted that BMI alone may not accurately reflect body composition, and more precise measures are needed.
