Efficacy of everolimus in patients with hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative, metastatic breast cancer pretreated with CDK4/6 inhibitors

A multicentric retrospective cohort study evaluated the efficacy of everolimus plus endocrine therapy in patients previously treated with CDK4/6 inhibitors. Results showed that this patient population experienced a shorter median progression-free survival benefit from everolimus-based treatment than those who had not been previously treated with CDK4/6 inhibitors.
