Datopotamab deruxtecan versus chemotherapy in previously treated inoperable/metastatic hormone-receptor-positive HER2-negative breast cancer: Final overall survival analysis of the phase 3 TROPION-Breast01 study
Last Updated: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
In the final overall survival analysis of the phase 3 TROPION-Breast01 study, datopotamab deruxtecan demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in progression-free survival compared with investigator’s choice of chemotherapy in patients with previously treated, inoperable/metastatic HR+ HER2- breast cancer. The dual primary endpoint of overall survival was not statistically significant, and the investigators speculated that subsequent antibody-drug conjugate treatment may have affected the overall survival results.
