Patients with multiple myeloma (MM) experience notably higher rates of breakthrough infection and severe COVID-19 after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. This retrospective cohort study in the national Veterans Affairs health-care system analyzed the risk of breakthrough infections after the vaccine booster compared to matched patients without MM.
