Desiccating Stress Significantly Increases the Risk for Chronic Ocular Graft-versus-Host-Disease

Researchers found that 73% of patients who were exposed to desiccating-stress developed ocular GvHD compared to 30% who were transplanted under high humidity conditions. This suggests that adjusting air humidity could have the potential to reduce the rate of ocular GvHD.
