Is cryoablation a valid option for renal cell carcinomas in direct contact with critical organs?

This study assessed the outcomes of 23 patients who underwent percutaneous cryoablation for RCCs contacting critical organs, including the colon, pancreas, duodenum, small intestine, and stomach, without intervening fat tissue. All patients were alive without any metastases during a median follow-up of 34.4 months.
