Comparison of financial toxicity among patients with non-metastatic versus metastatic renal cell carcinoma

The Kidney Cancer Research Alliance conducted a survey with 1062 responders to determine how financial toxicity impacts quality of life in patients with localized RCC versus patients with metastatic RCC. Results showed that RCC imposes financial hardship on patients, with those younger patients with a higher NCCN distress score and a shorter time since diagnosis more likely to suffer financial hardships.
