Accuracy, readability, and quality of websites about metastatic renal cell carcinoma treatment

Through 2,700 internet queries and an analysis of 39 websites, this study assessed the accuracy, readability, and quality of websites about the treatment of metastatic RCC. Only 5% (2) websites had a passing score, while 31% (12) had ≥1 incomplete, inaccurate, or unreadable information. No website had a reading level lower than 9th grade.
