Establishment of a clinical pharmacist-led multiple myeloma clinic with collaborative prescribing model at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research in Qatar

Clinical pharmacist-led clinics for patients with multiple myeloma being treated in the ambulatory setting provided a strong and well-timed link to patients. The newly implemented collaborative prescribing model encouraged the expansion of pharmacy services in other ambulatory clinics. The collaborative model that was studied could be potentially applied to different cancer settings to optimize safe and effective patient care.
