A review of pediatric MPN literature found lower rates among pediatric and young adult patients with MPNs of the common mutations found in adults, as well as thrombotic events, myelofibrosis, and acute leukemia disease transformation. Although the currently available data demonstrate better outcomes among pediatric and young adult patients with MPNs, compared with adults, more analysis is needed.
