Mortality and causes of death of patients with polycythemia vera: analysis of the REVEAL prospective, observational study

In this published abstract from the Society of Hematologic Oncology 2021 Annual Meeting, researchers presented data from a retrospective analysis of the REVEAL trial showing greater than 10% estimated 4-year mortality rates among patients with polycythemia vera. One-third of these deaths were related to thrombotic complications.
