Cerebral venous thrombosis and myeloproliferative neoplasms: A three-center study of 74 consecutive cases

In a retrospective review of 74 patients with MPNs (MF, PV, and ET) who experienced cerebral venous thrombosis associated with COVID-19 vaccination, patients were more likely to harbor JAK2V617F (91%), be female (61%), and be younger (median age 44). Thirty-one percent of patients had an underlying thrombophilic condition, and 14% had a history of thrombosis.
