Older patients with early-stage triple-negative breast cancer: The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center experience

Breast cancer mortality among older patients is disproportionately high. This retrospective analysis of patients ≥ 70 years of age diagnosed with stage I-III TNBC reviewed clinical practices for treatment management, particularly the use of the comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) and individualized risk tools to tailor treatment and minimize negative side effects while preserving the patient’s quality of life.
