A pathological evaluation of lung specimens from 45 patients who received allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation found that inhibiting both the MEK/ERK and PI3K/AKT pathways prevents bronchiolitis and perivascular inflammation in murine pulmonary GvHD.
