Therapeutic approaches in patients with bone metastasis due to endometrial carcinoma – A systematic review

Data from a systematic review of clinical characteristics, treatment approaches, and prognosis in patients with endometrial carcinoma and bone metastases show that local cytoreductive bone surgery was performed in a median 15.8% (IQR 10.3-43.0) of patients; chemotherapy was administered in a median 55.5% (IQR 41.0-63.9), hormonal therapy in 24.7% (IQR 16.3-36.0), and osteooncologic therapy in 2.7% (IQR 0.0-7.5) of patients; and local radiotherapy was performed in a median 66.7% (IQR 55.6-70.0) of patients.
