Bone mineral density (BMD) deficits in adult survivors of childhood cancer: Attributable risks and long-term consequences

An evaluation of bone mineral density (BMD) in 3,919 five-year childhood cancer survivors in the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort found that deficits in BMD among childhood cancer survivors are related not only to treatment, but also modifiable health behaviors, including smoking and physical inactivity.
