The importance of retaining physical functions to prevent skeletal-related events in multiple myeloma patients with bone disease

According to data from a study of patients with newly diagnosed or relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma receiving denosumab, a loss of balance and falling down may be triggering factors for skeletal-related events, particularly in frail patients (ie, ECOG performance status of ≥3) and those with amyloid light-chain amyloidosis.
