How to improve initial diagnostic accuracy of kidney tumours in childhood?—A non-invasive approach International Journal of Cancer

Non-invasive differentiation of pediatric kidney tumors is key in the International Society of Paediatric Oncology Renal Tumour Study Group protocols, meaning pre-operative chemotherapy without histological confirmation is recommended. A retrospective analysis looked at the age, metastases, and tumor volume of 3306 patients with pediatric kidney tumors to determine if the identification of clinical and tumor-related parameters enhanced diagnostic accuracy.
