This cross-sectional study investigated MGUS prevalence and its potential link to occupational pesticide exposure among men aged 50 or older in Western Paraná, Brazil. Researchers found a 4.7% overall prevalence but no significant positive association between pesticide exposure and the condition. Instead, MGUS was associated with increasing age and former smoking status, necessitating further longitudinal research.
