Advancements in microenvironment-based therapies: Transforming the landscape of multiple myeloma treatment

Last Updated: Thursday, August 22, 2024

This review looks at the most recent findings regarding the mechanisms of interaction between microenvironment and multiple myeloma and highlights research on treatment targeting the bone marrow niche. Evidence is growing that interactions with the bone marrow niche are essential for the differentiation, proliferation, survival, migration, and treatment resistance of myeloma cells, so it’s important to gain a deeper comprehension of how bone marrow microenvironment compartments interact with myeloma cells.
