The prediagnostic general practitioners' pathway of gastrointestinal stromal tumor patients: A real-world data study

This study analyzed general practitioner (GP) visits before GIST diagnosis. It found GIST patients have more frequent GP visits, especially closer to diagnosis, often due to digestive issues and anemia. Specific drugs were also more common. The study highlights this pathway with researchers investigating whether GP diagnostic improvements are possible.
