Laparoscopic and endoscopic cooperative surgery (LECS) is an effective treatment for gastric GISTs. A study analyzed 43 patients who underwent LECS or laparoscopic partial gastrectomy (Lap-Partial Gx) and compared the surgical outcomes to determine the feasibility of LECS for gastric GISTs with a tumor diameter of >5 cm.
