Feasibility and safety of endoscopic resection for duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumors

This article looks at the feasibility and safety of endoscopic resection for duodenal gastrointestinal stromal tumors, detailing a retrospective study on patients who underwent either endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) or endoscopic full-thickness resection (EFTR). It was concluded that both ESD and EFTR are minimally invasive and safe treatments for these specific tumors, with EFTR showing potential advantages for deeper lesions.
