Simplified geriatric assessment in older patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma: the prospective Elderly Project of the Fondazione Italiana Linfomi

Based on results from the Elderly Project Study, a new simplified geriatric assessment—which incorporates activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, Cumulative Illness Rating Scale for Geriatrics, and age (≥80 or <80)—can objectively assess fitness status and predict the overall survival of older patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
