Data presented during the 2023 American Society of Hematology Annual Meeting showed that several geriatric assessment components—such as low ADL score, self-reported Karnofsky performance score, and abnormal Timed Up and Go (TUG)—are associated with severe treatment related toxicity in older adults with non-Hodgkin lymphoma receiving systemic chemotherapy. In this study, 72% of patients had DLBCL.
