Low magnesium levels and prognosis in newly diagnosed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma

According to a recent analysis of patients with untreated DLBCL undergoing autologous stem cell transplant, low normal serum Mg levels were associated with a higher stage at diagnosis, increased extranodal involvement, higher International Prognostic Index score, and lower overall survival and event-free survival.
