Transitions of care between pediatric onco-hematology and intensive care units: An exploratory study of healthcare professionals' perceptions and practices in medication management

Experts conducted semi-structured interviews with 24 healthcare professionals to explore their perceptions, experiences, and practices related to medication management during transitions of care between pediatric onco-hematology and intensive care unit settings. Themes that emerged included the clinical complexity of this population of patients, technical and logistical barriers, and the specific involvement of parents in pediatric care.
