“Off-the-Shelf” CAR T-Cell Therapy Tested in Pediatric B-Cell Leukemia

Based on previously reported data regarding use of experimental allogeneic gene-edited T cells in place of CAR T cells as therapies for children with recurrent or refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, this phase I clinical trial resulted in remission for four of six children who were infused with allogeneic CAR T cells.
