Observational Cohort Study of People Living with HIV (PWH) Treated with CD19-Directed CAR T Cell Therapy for B-Cell Lymphoid Malignancies—Interim Results of AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC) Study AMC-113

Last Updated: Thursday, April 6, 2023

Because of clinical trial exclusion criteria regarding positive HIV status, this prospective study represented the largest series of PWH treated with CAR T-cell therapy. Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) remains the leading cause of cancer-attributable deaths in PWH, so this study aimed to increase knowledge regarding patient and treatment characteristics, as well as outcomes, for PWH treated with CD-19-direct CAR T cells. The study is ongoing and is enrolling onto a prospective CAR T-cell study (AMC-112).
