Development and characterization of anti-CXCR4 chimeric antigen receptor T cells
Last Updated: Wednesday, April 15, 2026
Researchers analyzed publicly available tumor transcriptomic datasets and confirmed high CXCR4 expression in acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia. They developed anti-CXCR4 CAR-T cells and evaluated their activity against leukemic cell lines in vitro, finding that these CAR T cells showed potent anti-leukemia activity without activity against other T cells.
