Fracture risk in breast cancer: Does obesity have an effect? A scoping review

A scoping review of literature on obesity and the fracture outcomes of patients with breast cancer found a potential association between body mass index and fracture risk in this patient population. However, only five studies were included in this review, demonstrating that more research is needed in this area.
