Description of Major Osteoporotic Fractures in Women With Invasive Breast Cancer Who Received Endocrine Therapy

A cohort study of women with newly diagnosed invasive breast cancer who received endocrine therapy examining which pathologic fractures are associated with major osteoporotic fracture events demonstrated that pathologic fractures comprised at least 1 in 3 subsequent incident vertebral fractures among women with initial stage III or stage IV breast cancer.
