Utility of glass slide morphology (GSM) and whole slide image (WSI) in the diagnosis of acute leukemia (AL) by types

This study compared glass slide morphology (GSM) and whole slide imaging (WSI) for diagnosing acute leukemia (AL) using flow cytometry as the gold standard. Both methods showed high sensitivity and specificity for diagnosing AL but struggled to differentiate AML from ALL. GSM and WSI are effective for screening and referrals.
