Systematic review of pain assessment measures used in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia

Pain is common yet understudied in pediatric ALL, with no evidence-based guidelines for assessment or treatment. This systematic review identified gaps in pain measurement, noting reliance on generic tools over pain-specific measures. Psychometric properties varied across 39 tools. Recommendations include using validated, multidimensional measures to improve pain management in pediatric ALL.
